Prayer Request FOR ST GEARD'S FEAST DAY, 16 OCTOBER

Praying with St Gerard
St. Gerard Majella, born in 1726 in Italy, is remembered for his incredible selflessness and deep faith despite his short life. He joined the Redemptorists and quickly became known for his tireless acts of charity and service to others. Though he lived only 29 years, Gerard’s impact on the lives of those he helped and his legacy of faith continue to inspire people today.

He has long been known to help expectant mothers, new mothers and children. His shrine at Mater Domini in Italy receives thousands of letters of thanks each year for his intercession in answering prayers.

We invite you to seek his intercession or prayers for yourself or on behalf of a family friend or loved one.

Your request will be sent to the Redemptorist community to offer prayers on your behalf.

All requests are treated with the strictest confidence.

Prayers to be included in St Gerard’s feast day liturgy have now closed.
You can still ask for prayers by the Redemptorists at our regular

prayer request page by clicking here.
