No one knows where life might lead. For some, it means leaving behind everything

familiar and starting over somewhere completely new. It’s never easy to rebuild your

life from the ground up, but it’s easier when others choose to share the journey and

offer their support.

Kindness doesn’t have to be grand or complicated. It’s found in the way we greet

someone, open a conversation or simply make space for another person to feel at home.

These moments, even the small ones, remind people that they are welcome,

respected and not alone.

We don’t always realise how powerful a welcome can be, not just for the person

we’re welcoming, but for ourselves, too. In opening the door to others, we often find

friendship we didn’t expect, learning we didn’t plan for and a stronger community

than we imagined.

When we share life with people whose journeys are different from our own, we discover

that we don’t lose anything by making room for others, we gain more than we could

have hoped for. Kindness opens doors, courage lifts others and hope brings us together.

And there’s always room for one more.
