THE QUIET STRENGTH OF A SURVIVOR

LIGHT THROUGH THE SHADOWS

“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the

end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’”
~ Mary Anne Radmacher ~

A survivor is someone who faces adversity with an unbreakable spirit. They may feel

fear, doubt or pain, but they do not let these feelings define them. Instead, they rise

above, drawing strength from the very challenges that try to hold them down.

Survivors are adaptable, learning to face life’s obstacles with courage and finding

light even in the darkest moments. They have a deep inner resolve, a quiet yet fierce

determination to keep moving forward. Survivors are resilient; they fall, but they get

back up, learning from every experience, however painful.

Survivors understand that setbacks are not the end but part of their journey. Even

when the way forward seems unclear, they hold on to hope, trusting that better days

lie ahead. Through their struggles, they often discover a deeper sense of purpose,

uncovering new aspects of themselves they never knew existed. Their courage is not

just in enduring hardship but in embracing growth and meaning along the way.

Dear God, help me to face each day with courage. Even in my darkest moments,

let me see the light and feel the strength You have placed within me. Amen.
