A LIFETIME OF LOVE

“The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.”
~ Audrey Hepburn ~

Love is not something that arrives perfect and complete.
It grows and changes as we grow and change.

At the beginning, love is often filled with excitement and hope. It is the joy of

discovering someone special, sharing dreams, making promises and believing

that together you can face anything.

As time passes, love becomes deeper. It becomes a choice and a commitment.

It is found in everyday moments – sharing responsibilities, working through

difficulties, having honest conversations and choosing to remain together

even when life is not easy.

Then love becomes more giving. It reaches beyond two people and embraces

family, children and the many roles we take on in life. It is shown through

quiet sacrifices, acts of kindness and caring for others without expecting

recognition.

Over the years, love becomes gentler. It is found in patience, understanding and

the comfort of knowing someone so well that even silence can be shared

peacefully. It is the simple joy of being together and appreciating the

little moments.

In the later chapters of life, love becomes something truly precious. It no longer

needs grand gestures or many words. It is found in a loving touch, a familiar

smile, a helping hand and the quiet presence of someone who has shared

the journey with you.

Every stage of love teaches us something – how to open our hearts, how to remain

committed and how to be better versions of ourselves.

Love is not just a single moment or feeling. It is something that grows stronger over time,

and when we are blessed to share it across a lifetime, we discover a beautiful truth:

Love does not disappear with the passing years. It matures, deepens and endures.

Dear Lord, thank You for the people who bring love and meaning into our lives.

May we appreciate them, let them know they are loved and make the most

of the time we have together. Amen.
