INGREDIENTS

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Season beef strips with salt and pepper. Add a little oil and mix well.
  3. Heat oil in pan, making sure it is hot. Cook beef in 3 batches, remove and place in casserole dish.
  4. Add more oil to pan if needed, then add onion, garlic and mushrooms, cook until mushrooms have softened.
  5. Add tomato paste and stock, mix well, bring to boil. Pour over beef mixture, and stir to combine.
  6. Cover dish and cook for 30-40 minutes or until beef is tender.
  7. During last 10 minutes of cooking time, stir in combined sour cream, mustard and cornflour.
