World Teacher’s Day – October 5

Teachers do more than share knowledge – they shape hearts, inspire dreams and

spark curiosity that can last a lifetime. On this day, we celebrate those who

patiently guide, encourage and challenge us to be our best selves. Every lesson,

every word of encouragement, every moment of care contributes to a foundation

that reaches far beyond the classroom.

Great teachers recognise the potential in each student, even when the students

themselves cannot see it. They nurture confidence, resilience and a love of learning.

They listen, they challenge, they motivate and they remind us that mistakes are not

failures, but steps toward growth.

The impact of a teacher often goes unseen, yet it endures quietly in the lives they

touch. A single word of encouragement can ignite a lifelong passion; a simple act

of kindness can transform a difficult day. Teachers show us that learning is more

than absorbing facts, it is about discovering who we are, what we can achieve and

how we can make a difference.
