This coming week (NAIDOC Week) is a chance to slow down and listen – not just

to words, but also to stories, histories and wisdom passed down through generations.

These are stories of strength, culture, survival and identity. When we make time to

hear them, we honour those who came before us and those still on this journey today.

We don’t always get things right, but listening helps us learn and grow. It reminds us

of what’s important – truth, kindness, fairness and caring for each other. Many voices

have shaped this land. How we speak, act and walk alongside others helps build a future

that honours every story and every person.
