In 2016, Pope Francis wrote Amoris Laetitia (The Joy of Love), a message about family life. He reminded us

that every family is different, and none of us gets everything right all the time. Family life brings moments

of joy, but it can also include challenges, misunderstandings and struggles.

Rather than focusing on an ideal image of family life, Pope Francis spoke about accepting people as they are,

with compassion and respect. He recognised that we all need encouragement, support and the

chance to keep growing.

Strong relationships are built through love, forgiveness, kindness and spending time together. It is comforting

to know that God is with us through both good and trying times, giving us strength and hope. When we show

patience, understanding and care for one another, our homes can become places where everyone feels

valued, safe and loved.
