Then and Now … and the lucky winner!

Thank you to all our subscribers who entered our competition for a chance to win a digital radio. Congratulations to the winner Theresa French from Pittsworth in Queensland.

She sent in a photo of her four daughters from Christmas, 1994 when the baby of the family, Jessie, was 3 months old. Also pictured are (left to right) Gretel, Charlotte (holding Jessie) and Emma.

Theresa also sent a photo of her daughters from November 2019 on Jessie’s wedding day. Charlotte (left), Emma, Jessie and Gretel. “Jessie’s wedding day was the last time my four daughters have been together as Gretel and family live in Germany,” said Theresa. “They are hoping to return to Australia to stay at the end of the year.”

Also, a big thank you to Emily Mondon for being in touch with Majellan. A photo of her and her sister from the 1990s appeared in the last issue of the magazine.

Emily says, “My sister Alice is now 29 and a teacher and I am 33 and an Event Planner. We still live in Melbourne. We are just as close now as we were when that photo was taken. Alice is my sister and best friend!

“We have very fond memories of been on the (front) cover all those years ago!”

Both Alice and Emily were married this year. Congratulations to both on their marriages and successful careers.
