Vale Steven Barnes, 1996-2020

Majellan Media in Brighton is mourning the tragic passing of our marketing and media officer, Steven Barnes. Steven’s sudden passing has been felt deeply by all of us at Majellan, we feel as we have lost a family member.. While he was only with us for a short time, he left a lasting and indelible impact and will be sadly missed.

Steven, who was aged 23, will especially be remembered for his strong work ethic and wonderful sense of humour.

Testament to the esteem in which he was held by friends and loved ones, many attended the funeral at St Anthony’s Catholic Church, Melton South on Tuesday January 21. The church was adorned with yellow as people were asked to wear yellow as it was Steven’s favourite colour. Fr Fabian and Fr Bill Goldman, a Redemptorist priest celebrated the mass
