Jokes Wednesday walked into a bar and said, “Give me something strong enough to make me think it’s Friday.” The bartender poured a drink

Because we love our mothers so much, here are some one-liners to make her smile, laugh and hopefully not cry!
I asked my mum what she wanted for Mother’s Day. She said, “Nothing would make me happier than a clean house.” So, I got her exactly what she asked for… absolutely nothing. Consistency is important.
Mother’s Day is the one day a year we treat mum like a queen — breakfast in bed, flowers, compliments. The other 364 days she’s the CEO, chef, chauffeur, therapist, and IT department… all unpaid.
I told mum I’d cook her a fancy Mother’s Day dinner. After tasting it, she smiled warmly and said, “Sweetie, the effort is what counts.” Then she quietly grabbed her phone and ordered pizza.
For Mother’s Day, I gave my mum a “World’s Best Mum” mug. She looked at it, then at me, and said, “Finally, written proof you’ve been listening all these years.”
My mum says raising me took patience, strength, and coffee. Mostly coffee. Actually, almost entirely coffee.

My siblings and I asked mum what she wanted most for Mother’s Day. She said, “For you all to get along.” So, we gave her chocolates instead — it had to be something achievable.
I woke up early on Mother’s Day to surprise mum with breakfast in bed. She woke up even earlier to clean the kitchen before I wrecked it. Some habits never take a day off.
Mum always says she doesn’t need expensive gifts — just love and appreciation. Which is great, because love and appreciation are exactly what my budget allows.
My mum says she doesn’t play favourites among her children — she loves us all equally. But somehow she always remembers who forgot Mother’s Day last year.
I asked mum what her favourite part of being a mother is. She said, “When you finally go to bed.”
At the end of Mother’s Day, mum hugged us and said it was perfect. Then she looked at the messy kitchen, the wrapping paper everywhere, and sighed, “My real gift tomorrow will be when everyone goes back to work and school.”
