As it is Father’s Day on Sunday a few dad jokes wouldn’t be out of place.
A father was assembling a new wardrobe while his son watched. After three long hours, the floor was covered in screws, two shelves were backward, and the doors wouldn’t close.
His son picked up the instruction manual and asked, “Dad, shouldn’t you read this?”
The father shook his head. “No, son. Real dads don’t need instructions.”
Just then, the wardrobe collapsed onto the floor.
His son stared at the pile of wood and asked, “What do real dads do now?”
The father sighed, pulled out his smartphone, and said, “We watch a tutorial made by another dad.”

A father was helping his young daughter with her homework.
She asked, “Dad, what’s the difference between confidence and wisdom?”
Her dad leaned back proudly and said, “Confidence is when you think you know the answer.”
“And wisdom?” she asked.
“Wisdom is when you ask your mother before saying it out loud.”

A father was driving his son to school when they passed a sign that said: ‘Drive carefully—children crossing.’
The son asked, “Dad, why do they need a sign? Shouldn’t drivers always be careful?”
His father nodded. “Absolutely. But signs help remind people.”
A few minutes later, they passed another sign: ‘Slow down—construction ahead.’
The son asked, “Does that remind people too?”
“Absolutely,” said his father.
Then they pulled into the school parking lot, and the son noticed a sign by the entrance: ‘No parking—drop-off only.’
The father parked, turned off the engine, and began checking messages on his phone.
His son looked at him and said, “Dad, doesn’t that sign remind you of anything?”
The father smiled. “It reminds me that rules are much easier to explain when they’re for other people.”
